Kristy Castillo started her journey in the Entertainment & Film Industry by receiving a BA in Sociology with a Minor in Film at the University of California San Diego (Go Tritons!), where she obtained a certificate in Ethnographic Film and Media Methods, had a short film be accepted in the UCSD Film Festival and received an Outstanding Video Award. She has interned for a documentary distribution company based out of Los Angeles, CA. Kristy has also worked for an independent  Chicano filmmaker in San Diego as well as numerous California film festivals including the San Diego International Film Festival getting photos and videos of the filmmakers such as Machine Gun Kelly. When Kristy leaves the studio for the day, you will probably find her at Petco Park watching a Padres game yelling louder than anyone there or at home with her dog Jones watching a scary movie.
